The Tasmanian Government’s Energy Saver Loan Scheme helps more Tasmanians make the switch to solar by providing no-interest loans to eligible applicants to fund the purchase price and installation of energy efficient solar products from Solahart.
Energy Saver Loans are interest-free, have no establishment fee, and no account-keeping fee – although fees for late repayments do apply.
This loan scheme is adminstered by Brighte and the Tasmanian Government.

The Scheme offers 0% interest loans of up to $10,000 to residential households, landlords of residential properties, small businesses and not-for-profit organisations to assist in accessing a range of energy efficient products.
Loans may be issued for amounts between $500 and $10,000.
Loans may be issued for terms of one (1) to three (3) years.
Loans require fortnightly or monthly repayments (with the entire sum to be paid off by the end of the loan-term).
This scheme is fully administered by Brighte.
*$1,000 point of sale discount applies to the purchase of a package deal that includes an eligible Solahart Solar Hot Water (180 litres and above) together with a Solar Power system (5kW and above). 60 Months Interest-Free is available to approved applicants only and subject to completion of a satisfactory credit check upon application. Minimum purchase $4,000. A monthly account fee of $9.95 applies, and a one-off establishment fee may apply for new customers. Paying only the minimum monthly repayment may not repay the purchase within the interest free period.
